Why Projects Go Off Track
Projects slip for ordinary reasons: requirements shift, estimates get made too early, a vendor relationship ends, or the one person who knew the code leaves. Knowing which of those happened tells us whether to start with the code, the plan, or the documentation.
Know What It Will Take to Finish
Before we change any code, we spend a Discovery Workshop learning where the project stands. We review the code, architecture, tests, and documentation, interview your leadership and the people doing the work, and trace the problems users report back to their causes in the code. You leave with a readout of what we found and an estimate to finish.
If the discovery doesn't provide value, you don't have to pay for it.

What a Project Rescue With Trailhead Delivers
Stabilizing What's Broken
We start with what's hurting people now, like crashes, data errors, slow screens, and failed deployments, and fix those before any larger rework begins.
Test Coverage Before Refactoring
We add automated tests around the fragile parts of the codebase before we refactor them or change how they work.
Keep, Fix, or Rebuild Recommendations
For each part of the system, we lay out whether to keep it, fix it, or rebuild it, with the effort each option takes, so you can decide what to spend where.
Security Review & Fixes
We run dependency scans and a secure code review, check how data is stored and accessed, and fix what we find before it turns into an incident.
AI-Assisted Code Mapping
Our senior engineers use AI tools to read and map an unfamiliar codebase, so they can trace your users' problems to the code behind them.
Sprint Demos & Progress Tracking
You see working software at the end of every sprint, with frequent check-ins in between, so you and your leadership can compare progress against the plan.

Who Does the Work
A senior engineer leads the rescue. You own all of the code and documentation.
We interview the team that has been working on the project, because they know where the problems are and why earlier decisions were made.
What Happens Once It's Back on Track
Once the project is stable, we can keep building with you through Feature Development, or hand it back to your team with a clear plan for what comes next. We named the company Trailhead Technology Partners for a reason: we'd rather work with you for years than for one project.
Tell us about the project that's worrying you, and we'll set up a call with an engineer who has done this kind of work.
