Trailhead rebuilt the solution on Shopify’s plugin architecture, using their SDK and APIs and designing it to integrate naturally across a variety of storefront themes. Trailhead also built the backend integration that sends available plans to each store and returns completed sales to Montage. An AI-powered classification algorithm automatically matches store products with eligible protection plans, significantly reducing manual setup and easing the launch process.
When it became clear that a Shopify solution Montage inherited from another subsidiary was not going to meet our functional and security requirements, I turned to Trailhead to build a new app from the ground up. Given the time spent evaluating, and trying to make work, the previous solution, the timeline to rebuild was tight and the budget limited. Trailhead did an excellent job delivering a brand-new solution built on Shopify’s recommended architecture and utilizing AI-assisted data administration to ease the burden of the launch process. Overall, the resulting app was a vast improvement upon what had existed previously, functionally, technically, and aesthetically. It was a definite win.

Montage Furniture Services provides furniture protection plans and claims processing services to a wide selection of furniture retailers and consumers.
Montage was looking to build a new web portal for both Retailers and Consumers, which would integrate with Dynamics CRM and other legacy systems. The portal needed to be multi tenant and support branding and configuration for different Retailers. Trailhead architected the new Montage Platform, including the Portal and all of it’s back end integrations, did the UI/UX and then delivered the new system, along with enhancements to DevOps and processes.
